Harriet seems to keep on surprising us (or if not us, certainly her opponents!) whenever she moves up to seniors. This win will probably see her on the GB top 25 table on Monday week - I imagine she must be ahead of Alex Walker on tiebreak but I haven't checked.
Goodness knows what's happened to poor Fran - I wonder if she's carrying an injury or something. It's not as if she doesn't like clay - she reached the semis here the last two years, and based on form earlier this year is a much more accomplished player nowadays. I wish her well with finding whatever she has 'lost'.

Moving slightly off topic: You mentioned the she will be above Alex Walker on the tiebreak. What are the procedures when players have the same number of points? I've been meaning to ask for ages
Great to see how Harriet continues to perform in seniors, still 3 months short of her 16th birthday. Her ( relative to her senior results ) pretty poor junior form is rather strange, although as I said recently I'd be for continuing to mix things up for now and of course there are age restrictions anyway re the number of senior tournaments she can play.
