I wonder if Laura has retired after 2 points of the second set.

Earlier in the week a doubles match was won by retirement and it was left on livescore for ages. First serve is not firing, maybe an arm problem.

Barrois serving to stay in the match at 4-5

Barrois held for 5-5 and then broke Bally so now she will serve for the match at *6'5.

Poor Bally - Barrois on clay was never going to be easy but she seems to be finding wins very elusive at the moment Nearly 800 of her total of 891 points (come next Monday) will have been picked up from tournaments last year, less than 100 from the first 4 months of this year.

yulch and 0-3 down in the second, not a good British day Hope Robbo can do better.

Lost 6-2, 6-0, so leaves the two youngsters to fly the flag.
On a brighter note, Wardy won today
