L32: Mel South WR 318 v (6) Misa Eguchi (JPN) WR 214 (= CH) L32: Emily Webley-Smith WR 404 v (4) Chan Yung-Jan (TPE) WR 154 (CH 50 in 2007) L32: Tara Moore WR 327 v (WC) Risa Ozaki (JPN) WR 527
Rubbish R1 draws really - Tara's looks ok until you realise that Ozaki was the player who thrashed Emily in R1 last week, going on to reach the QFs where she in turn got thrashed by Kimiko Date-Krumm.

What is she defending before Wimbledon? Could she be on for a WC if she get back into top 250?
Not sure we are ever going to see her take out her career high of 99 are we?
Just 4 points (Nottingham fqr) then she is defending 40 qr2 points from Wimbledon itself.
I very much doubt we'll ever see her back in the top 100, but getting into the top 250 before Wimbledon would be a good target under the current circumstances, whether she gets a WC as a result or not.

QF: Mel South WR 318 beat (LL) Ksenia Lykina (RUS) WR 366 (CH 171 in 2010) by 7-6 6-4
SF: Mel South WR 318 v Monique Adamczak (AUS) WR 232 (CH 138 in 2010)
H2H 0-1, 3 sets, Nuriootpa AUS 25K SF in 2007.
This is Mel's first ITF semi since she reached some 25K semis in Australia in the autumn of 2010 and her highest points haul from an ITF since she reached the Final of Glasgow 25K in October 2009.
