Similar reaction, though Liam is no. 3 in the world in juniors at the moment so it's hard to begrudge him the chance!

Definitely a good development to see the Brits get 4 of the 5 main draw wild cards though, for the first time since 2001 (the last time there were only 4 WCs available, I think)

Queen's MD WCs since 2000:

2/4 in 2000: Cowan, Parmar (+ Sampras, Draper)
4/4 in 2001: Lee, Childs, Delgado, Parmar (i.e. all to GB)
3/5 in 2002: Delgado, Boggo, Parmar (+ Ginepri, Gasquet)
1/5 in 2003: Boggo (+ Grosjean, Krajicek, Ivanisevic, Agassi)
2/5 in 2004: Parmar, Marray (+ Agassi, Dancevic, Coria)
3/5 in 2005: A Murray, Delgado, Goodall (+ Blake, Philippoussis)
2/5 in 2006: Baker, Boggo (+ Fish, López, Philippoussis)
3/5 in 2007: Bloomers, Boggo, Baker (+ Cilic, Andreev)
3/5 in 2008: Boggo, Evans, Goodall (+ Bjorkman, Malisse)
2/5 in 2009: Goodall, J Ward (+ Grosjean, Baghdatis, Dimitrov)
2/5 in 2010: Baker, J Ward (+ Dimitrov, Harrison, Tomic)
3/5 in 2011: Cox, J Ward, Golding (+ Harrison, Nalbandian)
4/5 in 2012: J Ward, Baker, Golding, Broady (+ Hewitt)

Yeah fair comment, I guess what I'm thinking is that it seems illogical to give him entry into a tournament where he could be up against big name players when he's been struggling against players around his own ranking for much of the year. Then again maybe the big stage will bring out the best in him like it did for Murray at the 2005 event (although he was ranked much higher at the time than Liam is now).

Think Oli could definitely do some damage - I watched him at Nottingham the other day and in terms of forehands and backhands he had the beating of Lacko, he just let a bad service call disrupt his rhythm, for which you pay a high price at this level.

Good luck to all the guys!
