Yeeeeesssssssss!!!!!!

What a colossal effort form Johanna. That might have been a minor classic despite everything the stats might say in the cold light of day.

I can't remember ever having enjoyed a match that I couldn't see or hear more!

Defeating an opponent just a smidgen of their career high and over 100 places higher than her in those conditions and that long a match is so admirable.

Well played Johanna, well played indeed.

She defends and exceeds her 8 points and plays Albanese, ranked 735 (CH 158), next.

Phew, time for a nice cup of ovaltine, or stronger!

Sema is a grinder and a scrapper, so you have to beat her and considering Jo had all those chances to make the final set so much easier, that was a brilliant effort to come back and win that in the TB.
