I thought Liam was back with the LTA now, he was certainly hanging out wit the mob at Wrexham.
He traditionally has hung out with many of the players like Golding, Morgan and Burton, but I have not heard of any rapprochement with the LTA although there did appear willingness from the LTA in the past when the Broadys were initially put on the AEGON funding list ( last year ? )

I thought I remembered reading in a newspaper somewhere that when he turned 18 and was responsible for his own decisions, he had had a rapprochement with the LTA. Could be wrong on that, though.
Hmm, rather detroys my generalised theory if true. Seems Helen has got a similar impression. It certainly should be up to him now. Support his sister and the parental sacrifices yes, but he's got a career to think of.

Great resut for Jo, and she gets the good old Q1 win 40 points. Ar least she beat a highly ranked opponent to earn them.
Real pity to see hear that it was a real struggle for Naomi. There do seem to be issues with both Broadys. I know nothing about their current situation, but can't help wondering if it is a real struggle financially ( as has been indicated with Naomi before ) and otherwise. Principles are fine but in no way should careers be martyred over them Because they are then the ones losing out ! Just a thought and it may simply be loss of form on both their parts and I may have the total wrong end of the stick.August 2012 06:16:14 AM

Helen and Spectator are right - Liam did make the decision to go back into the LTA fold, as it were, after he turned 18 - that much became obvious on Twitter at the time. I think he was right to do so.
I mean, I can totally understand why the Broadys were shocked at the way Naomi was singled out and thrown to the (press) wolves to make the LTA 'look tough' when, particularly given her age at the time, the LTA should have been trying to minimise the press coverage rather than fuelling it and dealing with any disciplinary issue there might have been in private - and that's without taking into account the rumours about other people that were floating around at the time.
However, the Broadys have long since made their point, there have been changes to those running things (which mainly seem to have been for the better - thinking Leon and Judy, for example) even if the top man is still the same and I think both Liam and Naomi should individually be doing whatever they think is best for them at this point in their careers.
