FQR: Lewis Burton WR 701 lost to (q3) Mirza Basic (CRO) WR 304 : 7-6(0), 6-4
FQR: David Rice WR 569 lost to (q4) James McGee (IRL) WR 396 : 6-4, 6-4

Seems like a decent effort from Lewis. He didn't face a single break point up until the final game of the match.

The all British doubles and Jamie's first round singles are being played this afternoon.

Like Baker, Kudla won his first round match for the loss of just one game, and took just 40 minutes to do so. Josh is in singles action tomorrow while Jamie plays doubles. Rice and Thornley won't play their doubles QF until Thursday (their opponents don't play their first round until Wed).
