JWH could do nothing right after the two DF's should have gifted him the first set tie break. I was impressed with his temperament and the time he took over every situation - he clearly has potential with a big serve. Bloomers blitzed by Harrison in the first but he regrouped well despite a troublesome foot to make the second set TB. DF to go 3-1 down plus close line call to go 5-1 did not help but Harrision was on fire during those last 8 points looking like a top 50 prospect. May now be the man to beat here at just 18 years old.
I'm rather suprised that nobody has mentioned Ed Corrie this week. He has lost only one set in eight matches, and that was to the Harrison boy who everyone thinks is destined for greatness. He has beaten some highly ranked players and seems to be getting on with business without any drama. I make him a strong favourite against Dan this afternooon, but I I'm not sure sure he'll beat Harrison again. You learn far more in defeat than in victory, and somehow the mindset is different. Also, I bet Harrison has a coach with him who has been watching Ed play....

Fair amount of comment on Mr Corrie in the threads over the past few weeks. Certainly has made a very good start to the year. All the best to him for the final!
