TA says Boggo has withdrawn as an alternate in Vancouver and James is now in the qualifying draw in Washington (though I imagine he'll got to Vancouver if he gets in the main draw there)

The Week 30 thread suggests he is playing a Challenger in Italy next week, but I somehow doubt that.  My guess is that following a couple of weeks off, he is now doing a training block before heading for the USA.

Is it possible, Bob, that having made the decision NOT to play the US Open Juniors (which I believe was originally part of the plan), he's now at liberty to rejig his entire second half of the year, so perhaps he might now stick to European clay for a month or more. Looks like Italy could be a base for 2-3 weeks (July-August in Italy - hot, hot, hot!). However, I'd be surprised if he didn't go to North America at some point, and also surprised if he doesn't start playing a few hard court tournaments while out there.

just seen a tweet to kyle from the other day wishing him good luck for the italian and san marino tournaments, the san marino tournament is a challenger tournament in week 32, so looks like he may be sticking to challengers and may very well be in qualifying this weekend

What ever he is up to, he is keeping it quiet. The little "upstart" hasn't answered my DM on Twitter.  cry

Maybe he is too busy putting in the hard years.

It isn't like Kyle is an avid twitter user.

I wonder whether with Kyle not playing the US juniors now, he is not going to go stateside at all and will remain in Europe on the clay.

I did wonder exactly the same thing earlier - perhaps even with DC in mind.
