Mirabelle won a nice money tournament two weeks ago, down in Antibes, beating Karman Kaur Thandi WR 662 (and junior JWR 35) in the final, 6-3 6-2

In the women today:

In the women, Lisa W played number one in her Div 4 team:

Lisa W lost to Alba Carrillo Marin (ESP) WR 1229 (CH 911 last year)

Which is a shame, and a slight surprise, but she won her doubles. The team lost 2-4

Jess, unfortunately, suffered a horrible loss to a girl not even British Tour quali level (ranked about 8 whole levels below Jess, although, as said, Jess choice of ranking is a nonsense).

Jess lost to Caroline Lefevre 6-4 6-2

But she won her doubles, and the team won 5-1

In the girls:

Lucy Brown got beaten 2-6 2-6 by Korina Perkovic (UNR, ex WR 339), and lost her doubles (the team lost 2-4).

In the men, Mondeville played a very lowly ranked team (not quite sure what theyre doing in Div 2) but the Brits won nicely:

Oli Hudson won, 6-3 6-0

Adam TB won, 6-1 6-3

They won their dubs, and the team won 6-0

In the men, Matt Short was back in action.

Lost his dubs in a MTB, and the Div 4 team lost 4-2, but nice to see him back playing.

Damon Roberts chalked up yet another win, both in singles and doubles. Team won 5-1

Marcus Willis won nicely, in Div 3, although against a pretty moderately ranked guy, and also won his doubles. Team drew 3-3

In the women, Tara Moore played as number one, and won in Div 4, and also won her doubles, giving the team a 4-2 victory.
