Have you not read RJA's comment on page 1 of this thread or the debate on the Zagreb thread?  In short, no.

The Brits seem to be colonising Finistère this week!

R1:  (4) David Rice & Sean Thornley CR 405 (204+201) vs Filip Krajinovic & Goran Tosic (SRB/SRB) CR 1154 (1024+130)
R1:  Jan Mertl & Adrian Ungur (CZE/ROU) CR 1303 (393+910) vs Jamie Delgado & Gilles Müller (*) (LUX) CR 773 (109+664)
R1:  Germain Gigounon & Olivier Rochus (**) (BEL/BEL) CR 765 (508+257) vs (2) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 143 (67+77)

(*) ATP recommended pronunciation:  jeel MU-ler (the surname no doubt meant to be pronounced MEW-ler!) disbelief

(**)  ATP recommended pronunciation:  ROH-kus! no

all I know is that Quimper is currently under water

probably put a whole load of the southerners off - shame more of the Q Brits didn't go (assuming they can actually get there - the trains are pretty messed up)

The trains are knackered, but there are direct flights daily from London City...

quimper is a very long way from anywhere.   Cherbourg is closer, but a b*gger to get to plane.  I wouldn't fancy the boat with this amount of wind!

Poor LouieG, missing a very passing reference to Evo's withdrawal on page 1 of this thread, and clearly being unaware of the discussion of his Quimper withdrawal on the Zagreb thread.

Not everyone reads every word here, folk.

Germain Gigounon retired injured at the end of his first-round singles match against Grégoire Burquier, so

R1:  (2) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 143 (67+77) "defeated" Germain Gigounon & Olivier Rochus (BEL/BEL) CR 765 (508+257) by a walkover

Interestingly, the German third seeds, Kretschmer & Satschko, were also handed a walkover.

Do Ken and Neal still need to win a match to pick up ranking points or does a default count?

I believe (and will no doubt be corrected if I'm wrong) that they just have to hit a ball themselves in the next round to pick up the rankings points from this default.

Never wise to look too far ahead with James. Just remember Fergana(?) last year.

All five of the GB doubles boys will be on Court annexe tomorrow which is streamed (normally) on the ATP livestream site. So hopefully we'll get to see them all . . .
