i have a suspiscion that points are actualy easyer to come by in a R1 GBR vs GBR match up as a Q or WC in a GBR 10K than they are out here
points are always welcome however you come across them

Think it depends what time of year you are playing in SES - sometimes the draws are particularly weak, although there's always the chance of some strong newcomer looking for their first points.  This week I think there's only one 25K in Europe (the others being in the Americas), so stronger players are dropping down to 10K level and I guess their thinking is that they might as well go somewhere cheap, warm and where they might get a few easy rounds.

Eden has taken the first set from Ianchuk (who may have other things on her mind, but still!)

Eden goes a break up again!
There weren't actually many breaks in the first set so who knows what's going on.
Go on Eden!
6-3 *3-2

Love the 'who knows what's going on' but, yes, exactly - it's a funny game, carpe diem and all that  - GO EDEN !

Eden was two points away from winning that match (40-40 on her serve) but couldn't quite do it and loses the second set 7-5 :(
