7-6* big serve from pliskova anna scrambles all over the court three great recovery shots and they win!

wow! thought that would really be a test

as a measure of how good pliskova is in the last 12 months (with her sister) she made a wta SF this year in auckland and made 2 WTA finals event winning the title in linz - also won a $75K with naomi
shes a quality performer in dubs

naomi & renata just started against the very solid turkish pair 3-2*

3 good wins in dubs today as naomi and renata also win 7-6(3) 6-4

defo get a finalist then as tara and naomi face off in one SF

joss/anna having beaten #2 seeds today have tough #3 seeds next in bacsinszky/barrois in the other SF

That was some comeback from Tara and Marta in the second set. I think they won 5 on the bounce.

Well at least one GB player guaranteed for Saturday - lets make it a few more Dave, Tom, Naomi, Anna/Joss. Looks like I'm back to Preston on Saturday.
