Joss & Anna won the last 4 games of the 2nd set to take it into a MTB

However another defeat for the Brits in Preston as Joss and Anna lost the MTB.

miserable day for naomi hope she can see all the weeks positives on reflection

for joss and anna its another good week though they only played one match beating pliskova was great and two very good performers today were pushed even when anna wasnt playing well

After 8 successive finals ( with 6 titles ), Joss and Anna bow out at the SF stage, but I reckon they are still very much on the way up. Joss has maybe got into the top 200 and Anna probably back up to the 160s.

The singles unfortunately didn't really follow through on the great hopes from R1, but Naomi does look in generally good form, and with relatively little to defend over the next few months, I'd like to think she'll be back in the top 200 before long and maybe take out her CH.
