Eden served for the match at 5-2. Not to be. Maybe not too surprising. Now's the best time - on other girl's serve. Go girl !

Eden won 7-6 6-3

She plays the winner of the out of form Russian 3rd seed or an Italian. The Italian took the first set. There are more opportunities for Eden to go further.

Eden has doubled her points total in the last two weeks.
And, for all the dubs fans, just to reiterate the point: looking at her tweets that dubs wins with EWS was a real high for Eden, she was so hyped. I'm sure it gave her tennis a huge boost (no counting wins in 6 months before that, now two in two weeks, and her highest counter ever).
That is one of the joys and benefits of doubles.
Let's hope she can carry on.

NB It's Eden's 18th birthday tomorrow - so Happy Birthday in advance, and let's hope it's a great one.
