This is the sort of draw I was hoping Hev would get - A qualifier first up then Flipkens won't be easy to beat, but it's a good chance for Hev to get a high profile win.

The Miami tournament website seems doubly confused about Laura. Firstly, suggesting she's still playing, or perhaps it's some newcomer on the scene (along with Eugenia!)
Good draw for Hev. Though qualifiers could be Cepelova, Goerges, Vekic, Cetkovska and others, she has every chance if she carries her form on from recent times.
A bit worried about Johanna, for whom the early season has been even more frustrating for her than her usual slow starts to the year.
I'm assuming some sort of injury, having seen her warm down at The Fed Cup after her long match against Latvia ( it took about 30 minutes and the physio had her in some very uncomfortable looking positions ) you could draw conclusion sadly that her body is somewhat made of glass.
I agree that it's a nice looking draw for Heather.
Actually ( maybe rather surprisingly ) beating Kirsten Flipkens at WR 23 would represent a career high ranking scalp for Heather. Her existing best is Lucie Safarova, then WR 25, two years ago at Miami.
Would be good to see her take care of one or two top 20ers this year.
Qualifiers are: Bertens, Vekic, Peer, Mayr-Achleitner, Govortsova, Piter, Cabeza Candela, Razzano, Vandeweghe, N. Kichenok, Diyas and Date-Krumm/Abanda
Some tricky encounters there potentially, but none that Heather wouldn't go in to the match with at least an even chance I think.
Vekic if she fires, and Bertens (H2H 0-2), on these courts, are probably the best matches to avoid.
Hev has winning WTA H2H against Piter, Peer, Govortsova, Diyas & Razzano; her only other losing record is against Kimi (0-1)
It looks as thought the previous match is heading for a second set TB.
I wish there was a way of having the ATP and WTA livescores up together in one window in the new "improved" livescores! (Maybe there is and I haven't found it yet!)
edit - the previous match is now into a 3rd set. A bit longer to wait for Hev.
