Andy Murray's defeat by Borna Coric in the Dubai Championships had more to do with him wanting to prepare for the Davis Cup, according to Andre Agassi.
Britain's Murray, 27, was beaten 6-1 6-3 by the Croatian, 18, on Thursday.
American Agassi told BBC Sport the Scot wanted to be "preparing for what he probably is really valuing - that is the Davis Cup".

Well it's been an interesting 1st day in Glasgow, so different to FedCup that's for sure. I thought I'd be able to saunter in, catch a bit of practice, spy a bit on the yanks and take a few pics. Couldn't even get past 1st base ! First of all its a just a massive event, Team GB itself is huge, not just a team captain and a few players that's for sure. For example there's nearly double figures in terms of guys ferrying players/team members backwards and forth from the hotels. Wasn't even able to check it out the Chris Hoy velodrome, but there's always tomorrow ;). In the end I was lucky to get a long chat with Liam who just happened to be chilling in the Arena's cafe, which is open to the public. Liam was in good spirits, and confident about his game going forward, no niggles or injuries, and looking to get a few wins under his belt at futures level, then heading to Israel for a challenger. Also bumped into Beechy and saw Louis/ Matt L and Dom.
Oh and according to Liam the courts are in special condition but very very slow.
Phil - Don't forget to wish Beechy good luck in his own big week next week, when he represents GB Seniors for the first time. I know he is really pumped for that as well.
Thanks very much for the report from across in Weegieland, Phil.
Good to hear that Liam's in good spirits. Interesting re playing futures, and may do him no harm to get some more court action and wins under his belt before stepping it up again.
Got to assume that the courts are very, very slow by GB design. All things being equal Andy would like faster, but so no doubt would the Americans ( what's Young's preference? ) and it should be OK for James. So probably understandable.
