RE: Week 16 - Qatar F3 ($10,000) - Doha (Hard)

Exactly the same score as in last week's SF for Oli!

QF: Josh Ward-Hibbert WR 712 lost to (3) Antal van der Duim (NED) WR 360 (CH 290 in 2012) by 1 & 2
QF: (2) Oli Golding WR 352 beat Patrik Rosenholm (SWE) WR 647 (CH 362 in 2012) by 4 & 4

the doubles SF is streamed - very one-sided so far in the GB players' favour . . .

Hardly important but I have no idea what is going on in this match . . . K + M are effectivley just 'giving' the match to Oli and Josh, not moving for the ball, just lobbing the ball into play, serving straight away before they're ready, as though they have to go through the motions and want it to be over in 15 minutes

Well, if the other men just wanted their SF dubs cheque and now have a plane to catch, they get in the taxi and take off.

Josh and Oli win 6-0 6-0 with the other guys barely hitting a ball . . . :(

SF: (2) Oli Golding WR 352 v (6) Adrien Bossel (SUI) WR 480 (CH 317 in 2012)

H2H 1-1 - Oli won 6 & 1 in Heraklion last year but Bossel beat him 4 & 1 in last week's final here

I hope that we see a step up from Oli in his singles tomorrow. It seems to have been a bit laboured or at least inconsistent of late.

Unfortunate use of words there, Indy!! I suspect Oli was relieved too!!!

Just how many of our boys go down with tummy bugs?! Maybe it's the same for others, but it certainly does seem very a regular (sorry!) issue.

Oli's tweet:

Had to complete a doubles match feeling like death due to a fantastic itf rule which means unless the match is completed u lose points+money

(They lost the final 6-1 6-1)
