Joko takes the first set 6-2

With all the points changing, it will make it quite difficult to predict ranking positions.

Joko has 40pts to defend from Paris last year, but it is now 2pts for making the draw, 20pts for a win, 30pts for 2 wins and 40pts for qualifying(plus a further 10pts for making first round draw- i think)

Not getting ahead, but Mestach (a potential problem in JoKo's part) has withdrawn after only three points (shoulder pain).

The extra 10 aren't awarded. Just the 40 for qualifying.

Decent job, hopefully Vickery was no pushover and Jo was in good form.

From I can makeout from my French rainfall radar picture, it will be a race against time to get Hev's match started and completed.

definitely touch and go.

but the match before Timea's has finished and, if Timea's match is quick, then Heather has a good chance (some of the other courts are a lot behind). However, all the matches that were canceled have magically just re-appeared again. I'm assuming that's a blip.

Timea isn't far off winning but quite a lot of the matches have been suspended again, presumably it's raining . ..
