OK, just me, and I wish her well, but I am SO glad to see the back of her - whiny, moany, entitled, and don't like her tennis
She was a drama queen.
Literally she was a French child actress when she was younger but decided to pursue Tennis.
Well Alize has played her last match losing to Qinwen Zheng(Australian singles runner up 2024)in the 1st round in Paris. She has the record of playing in singles in 69 successive Grand Slam tournaments dating back to Australian Open 2007. The most successive currently after Alize is Caroline Garcia on 45 from the Australian Open 2013 onwards.

I had wondered why she went missing at a few points in the season. Absolutely incredible she was competing at such a high level through all that, but most importantly wonderful news she seems to be doing well.
The shortest but sweetest return to competition before tearing my ACL in my other knee in September. Despite this tear, I'm so so proud of that first rehab journey and grateful for it giving me the opportunity to get back doing what I had spent 14 months dreaming about
I'm so ready to get this one fixed at the end of this year but until then there's new goals to chase and I'm excited to see what this knee can do without an ACL"
