RE: Week 35 - Spain F24 ($15,000+H) - Pozoblanco (Hard)

Not having seen the match, certainly seems like a choke.  However, breaking an opponent when they serve for a match or a set often gives a player renewed self-belief and the ability to raise their game...it may be that James' opponent played much better from 2-5.

The Brits are "decimating" the Spaniards on their home turf at the moment, but then, they do account for the top three seeded pairings!

Yes, once again the Brits doing it in the doubles, which the Spaniards probably hardly care about, but more or less the opposite happening in the singles where it really matters

Not that doubles wins are bad, obviously, I just wish it was the other way round!

A GB pro singles winner today, at last!

L16: (7) Ed Corrie WR 335 beat Mateo Nicolas Martínez (ARG) WR 490 (CH 463 earlier this month) by 3 & 4

That's a good win - Martínez won Vigo 10K last week, albeit on a different surface.

Good stuff and four good points. One more win will push him fairly close to the top 300, with plenty of opportunities in 15ks to come in next few weeks.
