Sorry for Ms Peschke and Mr Matkowski, but delighted for Mr Hutchins (and his partner, of course). Alas, they have the toughest match-up going for the SFs (not just based on seedings, which can be odd in mixed, but based on form and genuine prowess) ... but who knows? It's been a great run so far!

They had glimpses of chances, but couldn't quite press home their advantage when they had them.  Still a good campaign.

Pity. Would so have liked Mr Hutchins to play the final (and to be guaranteed at least some silverware). But much closer than I actually thought that it would be. And quite an extraordinary run for two people who had never played a match before the tournament.
