Apart from the sitter he missed in order to go 4-0 in the second, that's as good a performance as you could ask for.
This reminds me of the period in the run up to his Junior Wimby final appearance, when he was winning match after match. It really is a joy to see all that talent starting to be fulfilled and knowing there's so much more to come.
Is RJA around ? and if he is,can he answer the question about Liam's abilities to win at Challenger level ? ;)
Real pity that they have been exposed to such little at this level in the past ( while racking up futures titles ), but I variously hear great things about each of them, and clearly they are an established team. Hopefully, they can now seriously progress.
QF: Liam Broady WR 235 v Ryan Harrison (USA) WR 196 (CH 43 in 2012)
This is the first time Harrison has won back-to-back main draw matches since the Dallas Challenger in March and the first time he's won back-to-back singles matches of any kind (any kind recorded on ITF, anyway!) since Wimbledon qualifying.

It's incredible how downhill it's gone for Harrison in the last two and a half years. Must be some sort of mental demons at play there, you'd have thought.
