In North Oxford this week, Lauryn JB withdrew from her QF match because of double-entering at the Nike juniors.
That put Beth through to the semis, to play Sophie Watts.
In the other side, Lucy out 6-4 in the third to Eden Richardson which may be partly due to Lucy and because it's difficult to get going again after the highs of Wimbly qualifying and partly due to Eden, who supposedly is playing in great form at the moment and carving herself out an important niche as right up their in our exciting potentials.
Anyway, Eden will play Savannah Sills on the other semi
Well done to Beth but, once again, worth noting that beth has not stepped foot outside the UK this whole year - making a living off British Tour events and a lot of wildcards in domestic competitions

this is interesting.... I watched them play against each other at Surbiton and Eden conspired to loss despite having 12 match points. Pleased to see her exact revenge today
In the quarters, beth won by w/o, Sophie Drakeford-Lewis beat Mollie Crouch, Emma Hurst pipped Savannah in a third-set TB, and Lucy beat Lauren Dowling.
At Frinton this week, Mollie Crouch is in the final, beating Sophie Watts in the semi.
18 year-old Mollie will play 17 year-old Megan Rogers (who beat both the top seed - Emma Hurst - and the third seed - Katie Dyson - en route to the final).
