This should be a very easy 10pts for James. Arguably in the best section to qualify from as well. Would play either Copil or (8) Basilashvili to qualify should he get past the local wildcard.

Well, that's certainly as kind a draw as one is likely to get in an ATP qualie. Given that he's not played in a while, that's good news. All the best to him.

James' first match has been delayed due to a sand storm that blew in on Thursday night. It is disgusting out there. Poor air quality, heavy wind, very hot and slippery court. Not sure if they will get on today. I know Janahi. James should be fine. Temperature due to drop 15 degrees tomorrow which should suit him. Not good for us spectators though as Sunday is the first day of our working week.

Other seed in his quarter is Goffin. Potential semi with Roger.

Goffin retired in his 2nd round match in Marseille this week, so I don't know how fit he is.
