Thanks for that Beefy, he obviously has insight and is constantly trying to fight his inner demons when things don't go his way. I have been pretty indifferent in part because of behaviour before he became a Brit. There are some things about Brydan that are admirable. He's obviously not a quitter and his competitive drive is part of why he is close to having a financially viable career on the tour.
It is always right at the top of the curve, close to a tipping point beyond which lies foul mouthed rants and rackets becoming projectiles. He obviously has the potential to be a success on the challenger tour., but it is as if he has two opponents on court to beat. I wish him well with both, realistically he is the next James Ward but different.
Brydan up to 231 ranking points and as Eddie says closing in on the top 200.
Only has another 10 points to defend before the 13/07 post Wimbledon rankings, 8 on 23/03 and 2 on 11/05 ( the 2 quite likely not to even be a counter when we get May ).
Looks like, with a fair wind, he could be threatening his 2009 ( aged 19 ) CH of WR 174 ( currently equivalent to 293 ranking points ).
