A long way to go, but a title here for Brydan would put him back in top 200

Does anyone know the reason for his exit from the top-200 in the first place? Injury? His ban - or was that purely a fine? I noticed he had a good solid pro game at the time he played in Bournemouth last year.

Not sure, he has obvious pedigree, won junior AO!

... and his CH 174 dates back to June 2009 when he was 19, so was looking really good at that stage.

I don't know the ins and outs other than the negatives I've read re his past court conduct, but he's certainly playing much better now than in the initial period after he became a Brit.

Be interesting if he makes the top 200 ( as he should soon and quite likely with this week's tournament ) and then progresses well through the 100s.
