RE: Who should be our Davis cup doubles pair ?

I didn't see the first 2 sets but from the Eurosport commentary I gleaned that Jamie was the weak link having been overawed by the occasion; giving the Bryans a 2 set start and running them so close was an immense effort :)

Jamie serve let him down in the first set & Dom missed opportunities to finish the final set with a swing on a few  volleys That with more composure would have been winners . In saying all that it was effectively a scratch pair and the effort was 10-10

there were some elementary errors with swinging on some volleys and lack of understanding on who was taking the overheads when down the middle which cost a few games and could if corrected make all the difference in future matches . That one match will make all the difference in a potentially tougher home tie against France when the doubles rubber likely to be more critical
