How is entry to the wildcard draw determined? For example how come Bloomfield is there?
Linked to British Tours?

In previous years automatic entry was based on pro ranking. If that didn't fill all the positions then uk rating, those of the same rating split by uk ranking. Assume still the same criteria.
The LTA says there are 10 slots based on ranking and 6 wildcards.
It also says that wild cards are automatically given as follows:
"1. Felixstowe 24-29 May - the winner of the mens & womens events will receive a wild card into the LTA Wimbledon wold (sic) card play offs. If the winner does not require a wild card, this will be offered to the runner-up. If the runner-up does not require a wild card then the wild card will be released.
2. A wild card slot will also be allocated to the player at the top of the Aegon British Tour leader board after Felixstowe (24-29 May). If not required by the player at the top this will be offered to the second placed player, and so on down to the 5th placed player only. If the wild card is not taken up then it will be released."
The other wildcards, I believe, are discretionary.

From memory (so I might be slightly out) there are 10 "direct acceptances" which are the 10 highest ranked Brits (or lower if any of those 10 don't enter) who don't already have a Wimbledon wild card. Then there are 6 wild cards; 2 of which are based on British Tour results and 4 of which are at the discretion of the LTA.
I did expect Klein to get a wildcard, but other than that the singles wildcards make sense.
As for the doubles, I laughed at Ward getting one, and thought it a bit odd that Kyle got one too, but with him I think they like giving wildcards to younger players, especially ones who have won a grand slam junior doubles title.
Good to see Marray/Nielsen getting a wildcard. During Surbiton when Nielsen was playing Klein I was only thinking again that Nielsen's reason for ending their partnership to focus on singles always seemed fishy to me when he'd played grand slam doubles with others since.
OK. At risk of making myself look like an idiot (as usual), I am going to stick my neck out and go for Luke from the top half and Marcus from the bottom half.
Well I am a Dan Evans fan so EVO for me but the bottom half is tough are there lives scores anywhere to be followed on the matches

This seems to show that Scott, Gabb, Luke and Alex have all won their first round....
add: it's really not been a brilliant 12 months for Dan S - going from a MD WC this time last year, to getting knocked out in the first round of the WC quali playoffs this year....

Paulisi going to do his nut if true, he's a monumental Martin fan.
I'm not sure where you get that idea from. I have watched him a couple of times, and believe he is under quite ranked, but I also believe that for quite a few GB players.
Scott is another that should be ranked higher than he is.
