Week 27 - Great Britain F6 ($15,000) - Frinton (Grass)

Re the qualifying entrants, and the large-ish number of byes, it's interesting to see the number who have entered the Frinton British Tour event this week, instead of giving the Frinton ITF 10k qualifiers a go.

ATP-ranked players such as Alex Jhun, for instance, and some decent youngsters, such as James Ling . . .

NB Just to confirm that the Wildcards in the 10K main draw went to Ed, Evo, Tom F and Evan Hoyt.

Good to see the college boys playing well .... shame that Ed and Lloyd had to meet in the first round....

Both Milts and Ryan, and Ed and Lloyd, in tight second sets

I reckon you fell between two stools there, CD:  "over the line" or "past the post". wink

I Have a funny feeling that Marcus may well have a point to prove to the LTA regarding not getting a wildcard and will have a good run over the next three - four weeks.

Gabb is a set up, Willis a break up

Little bit concerned about Dan Cox though - he's doing OK but not really in a great place, compared with this time last year (when it was all on the up, so to speak).

He's got a huge 44 points coming off this month.
