Good result!   I make Dan the favourite to get the W today as well.  Mathias Bourgue seldom comes off the dirt and his results haven't been great when he has ventured onto any other surface.  I'm hoping this is going to be a big week for Dan!  I'm looking forward to watching.

A little while after Dan plays, it'll be Liam's turn.  He faces Karen Khachanov.  Surely Liam won't have too much trouble beating a girl??!!

Karen is only 19 and a 6 foot 6 giant.

trying to find a stream for Dan's match... anyone found a decent one? Thanks in advance.

Edit: found it on bet365.  Resultina said 7.15 start but looks like its 9.00.

If it's on one of the two streamed courts, i'd imagine it will be on the following link.

Keep a-movin' Dan, you're a devil, not a man. . . . (won't make any sense to posters too young for Frankie Laine)

And it's two qualifier v qualifier spots in the main draw both avoiding top seeds in R2, so a great chance for a quarter final spot.

5-0* so it's either a bagel or a breadstick for the Frenchie (probably, not definitely with Dan!)

One of those Q v Q matches would likely play Kyle in r2. I'd say on his current form that's as tough as drawing a top seed.

Easy peasy!

FQR:  Dan Evans WR 417 defeated (q2) Mathias Bourgue (FRA) WR 207 by 4 & 0

Five more precious points in the bag for qualifying. smile

And a bagel it is Here's hoping for a good place in the draw.

It feels like Ye Olden Dayes supporting Dan again.
