Indeed, we will see Marcelo Melo go number one on Monday and that was already guaranteed after last week I recall someone pointed out, whether the Bryans had played this week or not, given their 1000 Paris Masters title points from last year drop off.
As it is, I make it that he will jump 760 points ahead.
Re Jamie & John they already stand very well positioned to go past Dodig in number six when his 02 points come off, I presume a week Monday. Their position re Tecau & Rojer will be clearer once this week pans out, with Rojer & Tecau also in the Basel SF, they could yet net not close up at all, close up a little bit or close up a big bit.
Actually, if J & J won the title this week, with the Bryans having a further 1300 WTF points to come off, that comparison would look very interesting too. Again, l'll see how this week actually wraps up before considering just how interesting.

SF: (3) Jamie Murray & John Peers (AUS) CR 15 (8+7) defeated Dom Inglot & Robert Lindstedt (SWE) CR 52 (29+23) by 7-5 1-6 [12-10]
Don't know whether to laugh or cry at that result! Still not a bad week for Dom & Robert & a good one for Jamie & John, who more than justify their seeding by reaching the final.
The other semi, 'twixt Peya/Soares & JJR/Tecau (2), will be played later today.
Just looking at the "doubles race", j and j are only 650 pts off the Bryan's. So really not inconceivable to finish year as the top team if they do well in Paris and the o2
