Despite being an optimist, I was looking on here hoping to see that he had at least achieved a respectable score....never expected to see a win.....Well Done Alex !!
We probably have a number of very good clay court players who never get to know it due to the lack of clay courts secondary to the weather in the UK and the cost and practicalities associated with travelling to and playing on the surface as a youngster and in development.
A very good win indeed

But on the drawsheet it says at the top that it's a 125k
And the prize money on the drawsheet corresponds to a 125k
What is it?
I'd spotted that as well CD, very confusing.
I would think that the drawsheet itself is probably the more reliable source, so until it's proved otherwise I'll assume it is indeed a 125k. Hopefully Alex can help himself to some of the tasty points and cash on offer!

This is very weird, isn't it. Just to add to the confusion, the tournament poster at http://tenisgrandslam.com/actual.php?ide=89 says "75 mil dólares en puntos ATP"! So I think it must be a 50K+H after all, for which the points are equivalent to a 75K(no H).
I wonder if they've based the drawsheet on one for a tournament which was a 125K and forgotten to change that figure and the points?
Edit: Yes, I think they have - the last time it was held as a Challenger in Bogotá under a previous sponsor (in 2013), it was a 125K(+H I think, but it's not completely clear) - and Estrella won the title. It was then upgraded to an ATP 250 last year (edit again: apparently there was both an ATP and a Challenger in Bogotá in 2013 too) but seems to have lost its sponsor and been downgraded to a Challenger again this year.

The Bogota ATP 250 was held in July this year, similarly to last year; Tomic won both events.
