That is a mega fine win for Neil, really stoked for him, and sets up a cracking match for tomorrow.

Nice to see Neil finally turning over a high seed in the final set.
I think he will have too much for Jonny in the semi final.

Lets hope Jonny stays fit and plays more futures events and gets that ranking to where it should be.

Glasspool breaks after marathon first game, then holds and breaks again (both to 30) to take early *3-0 lead

Lloyd a break up in the 2nd too at *4-3

Getting excited about this young man, considering he's only been going 4 months he's doing very well.

No surprise to me - I've seen Sam Barry and he is correctly ranked, whereas Lloyd is still very underanked.

Guaranteed British winner now in singles and doubles

Another good win for Lloyd. As I said before, what I saw of his game was cause for a lot of optimism.

Easy peasy for Neil, too:

SF:  Neil Pauffley WR 796 defeated (WC) Jonny O'Mara WR 976 by 3 & 4 in an hour & six minutes

*****

Final:  Lloyd Glasspool WR 643 vs Neil Pauffley WR 796

And once more, the split loyalties arise!
I'll be chuffed for either if they win this, but if I had a choice, I'd probably hope for Neil as I feel he maybe needs the points and the confidence more.

Good stuff

Id say Lloyd has to be favourite, but yes while great to see either win the title, it's really Neil I'd more want to win this at this stage.

Highly delighted that Neil's turned promising performances into a BIG WEEK this week.

Am sure he has capability to build on this and really kick on, tomorrow will be a great test for both of them. He will be around #660 when these points go on in 10 days.

Impressively comprehensive win for Glasspool. Barry has had to play a lot of Tennis to get this far, but still very strong result.

To say how many guys are away this week has been brilliant from what you might have termed our second string, if only LTA were having more not fewer events.

Congrats to both players and also to Jonny for having a fantastic week.

Loving the fact that so many of the 500-1000 players seem to be picking up big points recently. Long may that trend continue.

In terms of the final, as has been said above there will be split loyalties again. I really don't have a favourite of the two and am just delighted that we have an all-GB final. Good luck to them both.

I believe most of our top 500 players received communication from Spain advising them that it would be in their interests to be out of the country during the British 15Ks

Anyway, great to see how other GB players have profited in their absence.

Fantastic work from both: so glad that each will get to take home something for the trophy cabinet.
