So so happy!! Neil needed this week so much - no matter what happens tomorrow. As always, thanks for the support. I read Neil some of the comments you made yesterday, so you all helped with his win today. I'm just glad I booked my hair appointment this Saturday instead of next now.
Just to state the obvious (), mega congrats to all the Brit players who've done so well this week. And indeed those who came very close. And in fact all of them !
As mentioned before, Lloyd only has points from Jul 2015. So four months' worth.
So far (if runner-up tomorrow), he has 57 points.
So, doing a 'dirty' calculation, triple that to make it 12 months' worth and we're up to 170 points.

Got to look good in the photo when Neil picks up the trophy
A very good week all around. That doubles result is also quite something. Expected Mr Ward-Hibbert and Mr Glasspool to get to the final (and still expect to see them in Challengers at the very least quite soon) ... but Mr Harris and Mr Hoyt are a lovely surprise. Then again, looking over their records, they shouldn't be. Hmmm. Another potential Challengers pairing?

I think both Billy and Evan are far to focused on their singles careers at the moment to start thinking Challenger doubles. If they ever got Challenger singles level, then it might be another matter.
Point taken. But it does seem as if, when you have a pairing that is doing well enough to play Challengers doubles and could get into qualies as singles players, there might occasionally be benefit in following that route.
Evan is still yet to have a full year of pro tennis after what have must been a very frustrating period of prolonged injury when he would have been expected to transition to senior tennis from juniors. It is fabulous to see him doing well now but I think following such a long period off this year has been all about getting back into the groove and next year about building a rank with aspirations of playing challenger tennis next Autumn/2017
Agreed. He's not at Challengers level rankings-wise for doubles yet, either. I was thinking about the odd foray next year, not suggesting an immediate leap.
