RE: Week 44 - Great Britain F10 ($15,000) - Tipton (Hard - indoor)

O'Mara's comeback continues, he takes (to my surprise) the first set over Corrie 6-4

Glasspool leads Hoyt 6-1 1-1

O'Mara on brink of good victory 5-2 up in 2nd set.
After four breaks at start of 2nd set Glasspool/ Hoyt at 4-3* on serve.

Well done, Lloyd - he's going to be well inside the top 500, at the rate he's going, when he gets his full set of counters .....

This was a classic case of split loyalties for me. I guess its a lose-lose or win-win situation, depending on how full your glass is. Have to say I'm very excited about Mr Glasspool, he looked like he had the weapons to do some real damage when I saw him at the Nottingham futures in September. And his rise has been rapid so far. Shame for Evan, but still a couple of match wins under his belt and it's been a very positive couple of months for him too.

Great win for O'Mara, reaches first semi with 6-4 7-6 (4) win over (3) Corrie

Glasspool edges the 2nd set to beat Hoyt 1&5

Agreed re split loyalties for Lloyd v Evan but there always has to be a winner and a loser. So congratulations to Lloyd.

Similar situation really in the other semi. Having all Brit matches has its upside but also its downside. But that is a terrific win for Jonny.

Neil is already a break up against the Italian Nş2 seed. No split loyalties there - GO NEIL.

Really hoping for a good week for Neil here, it's been said so many times already but he just seems like such a nice guy!

Today's result should put Lloyd into the top 600 just about. Only a hundred to go Lloyd - please.

Neil won the first set fairly comfortably 6-2

Lloyd started the week on 44pts with a target of 75pts for top 500.

This is his "local" tournament and has picked up 8pts so far with a maximum 27pts on offer. So potentially could get very close with a similar standard tournament next week.

Jonny's win will also mean a big jump in the rankings into the 800's and should guarantee him a SE for Bath next week as he is not yet in the main draw(along with Lloyd)

My livescores app isn't working at work, so any updates on the Pauffley match would be greatly appreciated folks
