SC - Where do you follow your livescores. You posted that result BEFORE the ITF livescores showed the result. Is it BET365 ? Are they a few seconds ahead ?

Yes & yes, Bob. Realised some time ago that bet365 always seemed to have a few seconds on both the ATP & the ITF live scores, so I always have both running when bet365 is featuring a match.

So the secret is out LOL. Don't feel quite so bad about getting beaten to the punch now. But let's be honest, the only thing that REALLY matters is the victory for Luke. I am buzzing for him right now.
I know that Luke (Bambo) is very appreciative of all the support from you guys. It's been a tough year for him with all the changes made by the LTA, but credit to the young man he has prevailed through it all.
Very well done, Luke. His draw opened up a bit, but some such as the JWR 2 one looked pretty nice wins and he has prevailed over all others including that final seed basher and got that title
I have wondered if all the changes made by the LTA has had some bearing on the slowish first half for many of the guys ( great to see many pushing on latterly and threatening that top 500 ) and perhaps quite a few of the women ( including here top 500 women whose progress has seemed to stall ) for the whole year ( some for instance who maybe did have the NTC as more of a base apart from other changes ). Certainly quite apart from the practical effect of the changes themselves, I can imagine a sense of discouragement for some hitting them for a time.
That will be 20 in the top 600 on Monday week if Neil Pauffley and his 53 points ( currently he is WR 598 ) hang in there.
Excellent! Great to see Luke win his first singles title, it's been a long time coming. Hopefully he can push on now and string some consistent tournaments together. The talent has always been there, as we all well know.
Agree Bob, really pleased for Luke. I wonder if there is a summary somewhere of all the GB men ITF (Futures and Challengers) in 2015? I think it must have been a good year and although the number who are top 500 or whatever is important, tournament wins is also a good measure of potential to go further
David if you use the link back tab to the homepage all the information re wins for British men 15! in 2015, women and juniors are there,
"British Successes 2015"
listed chronologically and then player by player.
The first ITF singles senior titles win is a major milestone and in that respect it has been a cracking year for a number of our young players you must be very pleased!!
