I agree, a bit more of a test assuming it is outside as well but after a good second half of last year one would hope Naomi will start making a good dent in this level of tournament this year!

Yes, Naomi's second half of last year has really set her up for rankings progress in the first half of this year.

She now has only 24 points net ( 48 - 24 from current non counters ) out of her now 504 points ( 14 so far adding a net 4 ) to defend before June.

Hopefully she can move past her CH 116 towards the top 100 and direct entry to the French Open and Wimbledon.

Holding serve has been a struggle since the first set. First serve percentage not helping. Currently 4-3*

MR saves bp before holding for 4-4

Naomi holds to love 5-4*

MR holds to 15 5-5
