Why oh why is Hev scheduled on 3rd?!
The 2 matches preceding her's have no reason to do so. Seems odd but then I'm often baffled by these scheduling decisions

'Cos they've both had a very late night, hanging around ?
They''re into their final set so the winner is not going to be really tired out. I tend to think that's better playing in the afternoon before a night match rather than first thing and as Julia said they would have been there late last night. I don't know if and how much they'ed be consulted on their scheduled restart.
True, hadn't thought of that! I suppose it's never going to be ideal when you're playing twice. Even though they're into a final set they'll still have their normal warm up, warm down etc to go through presumably. Hope Hev can get this match done and won promptly
One of the matches before Heather was moved due to walkover. However she is still waiting for the prior match to finish as it was suspended at 7-5 5-2.
Having watched 8 odd hours of rain interspersed with brief interludes of people drying courts, and even occasionally playing tennis, happily one can report that Cibulkova has just managed to close out her QF.
So, resumption and completion of Hev's R2 should be up, one presumes, extremely shortly.

That match has finished now, hopefully Heather's up soon.
