Yes, we're 6 hours ahead of Dallas, but just 5 hours ahead of Midland - local 1 pm start.

Anderson is very athletic, covers a lot of ground.
Could be an interesting match up.

Naomi started solidly, going for lots of winners.

She started that way against Sanford, down a set and 1-4* but came through.

First three games were superb from Naomi, but errors are creeping in now.

Should have consolidated the break. Naomi's backhand is superb.

 Her backhand is a liability to my eyes! I can never tell where she's going with it and I'm not sure she can either. It's all over the place, but extremely powerful, I'll give you that.

 

anderson 's 9th game was pretty awesome. Really put the pressure on.

Anderson very tidy.

Naomi very streaky.

Anderson is actually underranked. Only startrd playing FT in May 2015, and only played 13 counting tournaments. Impressively quick rise through the rankings, often playing through ITF qualifiers.
