Aaagh. Kyle saves 2 BPs with great serving but Pella plays a great point at deuce, running everything down and finishing with a FH winner down the line then a missed FH wide by Kyle hands him the break. 7-6 4-5*...
Edit - and serves out the set to love. The spring is back in his step which is a little worrying.
7-6 4-6 0*-0...

Pella looking a lot more enthusiastic and happier with life than he did half an hour ago but Kyle still hanging in there. 3-2 Kedders, no breaks yet this set.
Edit: still none as both hold easily.4-3* Kyle.

Pella serving 0-15..
Lovely deep fh from Kyle, 0-30...
Pella returns the compliment 15-30...
Kyle nets a bh 30-30...
Bh winner from Pella 40-30...
Missed FH wide from Pella and it's deuce..
Another netted bh from an audibly frustrated Kyle and it's ad Pella
And now 5-5 :(
Have to hand it to Pella, despite clearly having less weapons he's run everything down like a man possessed these last few games. You don't get to 40 in the world for nothing.
Disappointing that he couldn't serve it out and Pella was very solid in the last set.
Unfortunately Kyle's game is very one dimensional and he will get found out, if not firing on all cylinders at this level. Greg Rusedski tried to bring a serve and volley game in, but Kyle didn't like it and Greg got sacked.
Kyle needs to get some variety to climb the rankings.

Your comment re Greg is just factually just wrong. Greg never tried to introduce a serve and volley game. Why would you in this modern game and with a forehand like Kyle's. Greg was not sacked either.
He has a cramp issue which starts in his left groin area each time and it started again in the 2nd set. he is working on this from a number of areas but it is not solved as yet but it will get sorted.
