Emily's rematch has started 0-1

scottie1 · Futures level

Looks like a repeat of yesterdays first set as Emily down 0-3 with service breaks against her

scottie1 · Futures level

Now 0-5

Emily on scoreboard 1-5

Kounosuke · Intermediate Club Player

From 0-5* to 4-5*, is this going to be the most improbable 1st set comeback this week?

Shhh, she's still a break down

She's obviously a well-brought-up young professional sportswoman, this EWS, with the common courtesy to wait until I arrive until she starts playing...

From 0-5, to 4-5

Kounosuke · Intermediate Club Player

Em loses the 1st set 4-6, just that bit too much to do from 0-5* down.

Emily wins second set 6-3 one set all

Well done, Ms W-S! Keep going.

indiana · Tennis legend

Good stuff Em, keep it going.

And no Olivia, it's not best of 3 matches to progress to R2, it's all on this set.

One could come over all musical: "What a difference a day makes, twenty-four little hours..."

indiana · Tennis legend

Em chucks in two successive DFs from 40-30 ( just her 5th and 6th ) and is then broken. Got it all to do again.

1-3*
