Liutova (who's officially changed the spelling of her name on various tennis sites to Kristina Liutova but also it still Christine Lyutova) is the very talented Russian youngster (born 2010) who hasn't been able to travel outside of the USA for the last two years, because of US nationality applications problems - supposedly there's been a big hold-up in the application and she'll lose eligiblity if she leaves USA soil. But it's been a major problem in terms of finding tournaments of her level.....
In the £5k Progress Tour event at Cardiff Met this week, local junior Felix Bockelmann-Evans came through qualifying to take the trophy, defeating 6th seed Marshall Tutu in the final. In the semi's Felix had defeated 2nd seed Joe Leather and Marshall took out top seed James Story.
