Liam Broady

Liam's website is carrying his plans for first two months. I'm biased I know, but I think it would be great if other players would let their fans know a bit earlier where they would be playing. I do think generally as a Tennis fan it is very hard to keep track of where people are and what they are planning and this sort of thing just helps fans to stay in touch with where our players are and what they are thinking. liambroady.net/upcoming-schedule

Perhaps Liam had intended doing what it says on his website but his plans changed and his webssit did not. it is frustrating when the plans as laid out are incorrect.

This is such a good read - thanks so much for sharing.

Some fascinating nuggets, especially Dan mentoring Henry. I can see Dan being excellent in that role. Plenty of similarities between them - Dan was a top junior (although never won a junior slam), who also won a challenger title at the tender age of 19, but didn't really start to string it together consistently until he was 23, and even then, he didn't actually make the top 100 until he was almost 26.

Liam is such a great interviewee as well. Interesting how he notes that unless this year goes well (and by that, I'm assuming top 200 so he's a regular in challenger main draws and GS qualies), he might have to quit. I'm guessing he has one eye on the potential steady income he could make from commentating, compared with the loss-making life in the futures
