RE:

I bought this book a while ago but with several to read it was not until last week I finally started it. Finished within a few days, I really could not wait to get back to it everytime I had put it down. Gregory was kind of living "our" dream and playing at a level that really only most of us on here are capable of relating to. I was surprised but just how mentions this board gets (wish I'd commented and got a mention haha!) Its been a few months since mentioned and, well Christmas is coming! If anyone on here has not read it I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying it. I thought it was a great read, well written, a real eye opening and as I said, a real page turner. Well done Gregory, you lived the dream and wrote the book. What else is there :)

Yeah, it is a great read for the likes of us, like you he lived the life I dreamt of!

I read it two years back and saw it just the other day when sorting some books, so will definitely try and re read it now following your prompt!

Just looking at some of the names on this thread, Greg hasnt been on the board for a couple of years, Toby Perkins for a good 12 months and Sheddie (is Sheddie a journo?) for a couple of years. Which is a real shame

A few more oldies that seemed to do a Lord Lucan too,  Drew, Salmon, Forever Delayed, Magician Santoro.  It also very possible, I have to say with a heavy heart, that people may die, and we never find out, like what happened with Madeline a few years ago.

I was looking back at some other old threads and saw Drew had started the idea of Player of the Month votes way back in 2007. I didnt try and see how long it continued for but it was certainly happening. They seemed to get circa 28-30 votes in the months I looked at as well - just like now!
