Weeks 10 & 11 - ATP 1000 - BNP Paribas Open, Indian Wells, CA (hard)

Fed and delpo going hammer and tongs, 1 set all, appears v tight. Got to say I'm very keen for delpo to win, want to see him make real ground this year.

That was intense.

Glad Delpo got his Masters! Cilic, Stan, Jo-W Tsonga and A Zverev I think are the only players other than Fed, Nadal, Andy & Djokovic to win one in...a decade?

Oh so he did. I'd forgotten that.

Still, that's only 6 other players in a ridiculous amount of years.

Edit- actually 7? Dimitrov won one last year against Kygrios?

Yes, it's great to see Delpo get a win in a Masters, after all these years and all that's happened to him. i wasn't following closely, but it seemed a fantastic match, and I did notice that Federer had at least one match point at *5-4 in the third, before Del Potro broke back. DP won significantly more points in the match overall 122-108, so he certainly deserved it too.

So glad Delpo won I thought Federer was bad tempered during  vast majority of the match the crowd were very pro-fed same as semi-final against Coric
