Do you think it is Wimbledon deliberately trying to get an audience? Sorry Kyle love you but the nation needs my support and this is someone who watched Harriet and Jay on the button over Belgium v Brazil!

Kyle v Nole is 3rd match on Centre tomorrow. I am sure Kyle is hoping that the first two matches aren't over too quickly.
Can't be good match prep for Kyle to be stressing about England.
Agreed. I tweeted this yesterday
My worry about a late start is the amount of adrenaline fueled energy @kyle8edmund will use up watching the match. Let's be honest, when was the last "stress free" England football match. He could be mentally and physically spent before he even walks on court.
I assume all of his warm up routines will have to be adapted too. Personally I would have rather seen him go on first and get the match over with.
Spare a thought for khachanov -he's last on his court, no way he will avoid playing when Russia v Croatia is on. Shame they couldn't have helped him and played it earlier
Anyone watching Delpo v Paire (sorry not British). Just wondered what was going on as Paire calling for umpire to be taken off and Delpo really looking fed up!
SC dont have Times subscription. Any chance you could give us an idea of key points?
All my family are away/out for England match. Which means I can switch between Wimbledon and football so always an upside.

On the assumption that, if you click on the link I posted, it will at least bring up the first of Jamie's points, presence, which he thinks Kyle has improved over the last 12 months to the extent that opponents sense it & that he is now a "tougher nut to crack"; belief, as stemming from the win in Madrid: needs to express himself more on court & to "go after Djokovic because there are now a few chinks in his armour"; target [Djoko's] sliced backhand: needs to be good, as Kyle is quick to get on his "fearhand" (JD did NOT use that term!) & if Dkoko doesn't "mix it up" by going down the line a bit, "it will be advantage Edmund because he actually likes to hit his forehand from a position towards the backhand corner"; pounce on the second service (my use of "service" because as far as I'm concerned, "serve" is a verb, not a noun! ): Kyle needs to be more aggressive, as Djoko's "confidence is more brittle than it was, so Edmund can apply pressure when facing the second serve"; service (same comment applies as in the previous point): it has apparently approved a lot, thanks to a minor technical change in the positioning of his feet. His positioning generally when serving to the ad side helps to give him a wider angle & makes it more difficult to avoid the fearhand on the return & allows Kyle then to dictate play; conditions will help: tbhe lack of rain recently means the courts are harder, so the ball is bouncing a bit higher, which suits Kyle because he likes to hit his groundstrokes from up towards shoulder height.
JD closes with a word of warning:
I have got the feeling in the past month or two that Djokovic is on the way back. It was a great move to get Marian Vajda, his old coach, back on board, because he knows Djokovic so well and worked with him when he was at his best.
When Djokovic's focus and intensity came and went, he started to make more unforced errors that let his opponents into the match. He has tightened up on that recently, his displays are improving and he is playing much better now than he did when he lost to Edmund in Madrid.
Hope that all makes sense.
Re the footie, there's a great cartoon in the paper:
Well, it made me laugh! Echoes yesterday's Metro headline - chucked it out, so can't recall the exact words, but something along the lines of "Let's send Sweden flat-packing"!
