I ll be supporting Sweden as they are the ideal example of a country that supports its elderly and educates its youth better than any other European country. A perfect example of how to use welfare through taxation with low poverty and higher life expectancy. The opposite of greedy Tory led England.
Mon the Swedes
Im sure Kyle will be concentrating more on Novak than screaming at the TV screen, I really doubt it will affect him. He might be on centre court by the time Sweden win on penalties anyway. And then they ll be coming home
Thanks for the Ikeagram. Really made me laugh. And for taking the trouble to summarise all those points.
Presence is a big thing for Kyle. He comes across as so very polite that it may take away from his ability to intimidate his opponent. Adam Peaty, the swimmer, explained how he won his gold medal and beat the world record time. It was by working on tiny aspects of his technique and his preparation. Each area made a difference of fractions of a second (or points in tennis terms) but overall they added up to a win/world record. So a number of tiny differences can change fortunes, when combined together. In the same way as Djokovic did a few years ago:improving his serve, then his fitness and stamina. Will be interesting to see how Kyle matches up with the less than (previously) invincible Djokovic.

Sweden 0 England 2 in normal time (Maguire, Alli; Pickford outstanding in goal)
That's you well & truly stuffed - & one in the eye for Sven-Göran soddin' non-achieving Eriksson! It's coming home...
You just can't resist politicising a sporting occasion, can you? And with any luck, the England win will have given Kyle a great psycological boost in his match against Djoko.
Both wrong Im not supporting Novak, silly season is well and truly here.
Englands Draw is a bit like Rafa and Roger who have played ATP Plodders. Similar fare football wise, beaten by a better team and a few wins against average teams. Without Pickfords save who knows.
Lets hope Kyle gets as fortunate, maybe a few net cords and missed challenges when the ball goes out (like the 2nd goal offside for example)
Well done to England, so dramaless today. So hopefully Kyle is chilled and enthused by the result as he goes out to play Novak.
I actually think Englands win will help Kyle as the atmosphere will be lifted. The British crowd havent taken to Kyle yet for two reasons in my opinion, firstly because his game isnt that exciting to watch being a clay court style of player and secondly following on from that because he hasnt performed well on grass until now.
This may his time for Tennis to come to home etc....
And also, possibly more than these two factors, that Kyle has not previously really embraced the Wimbledon crowd. But just gone about his business beneath that cap. They haven't felt that connection yet and they often don't need that much to become a real asset even against such as Novak but he has offered few triggers.
It's good that his coach has seemingly put more emphasis on body language and it wasn't before time, and Kyle has recognised it as an issue and generally responded during this year, certainly relative to previously.
Possibly the best set of tennis I have seen Kyle play on the grass, if not anywhere. Right up there with a set he played at Monte Carlo against Rafa a couple of years back.
