In the younger categories, just to mention that our U12 teams, both boys and girls, seem to have won the TennisEurope nations event, the Lampo Trophy, beating France in both.

Victories for our @BritishTennis u12 teams in their respective finals of the Lampo Trophy in Rezzato, Italy. Congratulations to captains @andy_barnes81 & @alexlisiecki supported by @sabrina_fed on beating France to claim the titles. Our teams now head to Summer Cup Qs.

Results seem to be:

FINALE TORNEO FEMMINILE
Gran Bretagna b. Francia 2-0
Hophribah (Hephzibah) Oluwadare (Gbr) b. Beverley Nyangon (Fra) 6-3 6-3, Sophya Devas (Gbr) b. Shavice Roignot (Fra) 7-6 4-6 6-4.

FINALE TORNEO MASCHILE
Gran Bretagna b. Francia 2-1
Viktor Frydrych (Gbr) b. Raphael Vaksmann (Fra) 6-2 6-2, Leo Cohen (Fra) b. Henry Trump (Gbr) 7-5 6-1, Frydrych/Diack (Gbr) b. Cohen/Kouame (Fra) 5-7 4-1 ritiro.

Add: I amended Weston's spelling of the Italian town, and the nationality of Trump, changed 'Asophya' to 'Sophya' and added in brackets what I think is the real first name of the number one GB girl

Impressive stuff.

I thought Derrick and Joel were supposed to be big prospects? I know they are young and still have time but haven't seen eye catching results so far.

Maybe I'm being a bit pessimistic.

 I don't think you're wrong.

Derrick and Joel are both 2003-ers, and much touted.

However, Jack Pinnington Jones (also 2003) is - I believe - reckoned to be the star of that 2003 group.

Saw him play this summer and he got thrashed but it was against a far older lad - he's certainly got some nice tennis (although it was difficult to really assess because it was very mis-matched).

But, yes, no real eye-catching results, so far, as you say......

Cool. Just wanted to check my knowledge as so many players names get passed around that sometimes i forget who's the stand-out ones as of now. There's always a few curve balls along the way.
