We need a bit of calm here, the forum has gone into overdrive as per,

This guy goes on a run beating a few top 1000 players, not even top 800 and all of a sudden he is the next Kyle Edmund, when probably he will be the next Richard Bloomfield.

Oh Vandy.  I am sure you must be a hoot at parties LOL.

Nobody here has said he is going to win Wimbledon next year, but we are allowed to get excited about future prospects.  That is what being a fan is all about.  Who knows where Paul will end up over the years to come but we can certainly enjoy his successes over the last two weeks, particularly after what we have learned about him recently.

And to be pedantic, two of his wins last week were against players inside the Top 800.

....and the next Richard Bloomfield would be no disgrace blankstare

Thirteen victories (?) and counting for Paul now as he wraps that up 6-1 6-3

Don't know for sure but I do know that I long since ran out of fingers to count on.  What a couple of weeks for Paul and hopefully there is still more to come.

Yes,  it is 13, now matching Gabi and Harriet's runs as the best GB singles winning runs of the year.

Get in there Ewan. He had to save BP when serving for the match but has made it over the line.

Not for Ewan.  Paul is partnering Sam Butler.  Ewan not playing doubles at all this week.

There seems to be no stopping him at the moment!  biggrin  He'll play the winner of Ewan's match in the semi.

I see Slovakia F3 is also a Sunday start to Qualifying. So Paul needs a semi final win to be able to get at least a day off.

Bravo, Ewan!

SF:  (Q) Paul Jubb WR 1487 vs (Q) Ewan Moore WR 1327

That's going to be interesting.  Pity it has to be divided loyalties time, though!  hmm

Fancy a long match with a lot of repetitive rallies, both players know the other's game inside out
